Oh goody, more. Thanks for helping me kill the hour. Am I allowed to exagerate a little? You guys are right this small regional festival in Montreal isn't as good as the world renowned Coachella. Case closed. I count 8 subheadliners that can't really be argued (either sub or headlined Coachella or Sasquatch this year or last). Pretty Lights Silversun Pickups Explosions in the Sky New Order Hot Chip Vampire Weekend Lumineers Beach House Pretty Lights is a bit of an oddball. He headlined Sasquatch last year but is 11th on the Squamish lineup this year, but 6th on Bonaroo. No one seems to know where to put him, so I'll just not argue that one. Silversun and EITS both played Sasquatch last year, neither subbed. New Order: that's 1. Hot Chip: Maybe... I'll give it to ya, that's 2. Vampire Weekend: coming along well... that's 3. Lumineers: might be subbing Sasquatch, still not clear, but wouldn't sub Coachella. That's 3.5. Beach House: Not likely. Counting Pretty Lights, you have 4.5 subbers for Sasquatch/Coachella.

Silversun pickups were on right before Beck last year if I remember correctly, and EITS closed the side stage while Jack White was on (I know because I was mad about the conflict).
Now that I think about it Tenacious D might have been between Silversun Picksups and Beck, but we're splitting hairs here, they were either 2nd last or 3rd last on the final day = subheadliner in my mind.
You are right about the 3 headlines + Cure though. I miscounted and had Vampire Weekend counted as a Sasquatch headliner this year.

Oh btw it's in Montreal where it rains hookers and blow.
Both count as headliners. I win.

A subheadliner goes on before the headliner. By your logic the previous 2 bands before the headliner AND the band closing the Bigfoot against the headliner are all subs, meaning Sasquatch had 12 fucking subs last year.
EITS closed the Bigfoot against Girl Talk/ Pretty Lights, not Jack White. Lay off the drugs brah.
I've been to Montreal, I've even been to this festival before, it's great, but your perceptions on music festival lineups are way off.

Ding ding ding!
You could have done what I did, see all of St Vincent and only missed the first 4 minutes of Jack White.

I was about 5 feet from the stage, dead center for Jack White. Wouldn't have traded that show from that spot for an entire Sasquatch weekend.
St. Vincent will be through here again, Jack White tends to diss Western Canada (Vancouver excluded).

A festival 2 hours from me, in Gibbons, Alberta. This is why I drive so far for festivals. Word. I've been once (during my Matt Good phase when he was there). Not one I'd recommend. Didn't even bother going the year that A Perfect Circle played, and thats MAYNARD. Right.

Missing St. Vincent was the wrong decision.

I have dreams where Death Grips are subheadlining Coachella. Spicy Pie is often involved.

I just hope Animal Collective doesn't conflict with R. Kelly.
