Wait a minute, yours is only 2 days?! That makes the per-day price almost equal to Austin. This makes no sense. Well, that's Canadian Monopoly money so somewhere around $60 US per day. It's still crazy prices. There have been a few attempts at a city festival in Vancouver but they always seem to cost too much and never make it more than a couple years. Our insane liquor laws and the general no-fun attitude of city hall probably makes things difficult.

Aboot $91 CAD per day for Vancouver, vs. $94 CAD per day for Austin. That's insane. Flying Lotus is the lowest billed of the 6 headliners in Austin, and the other 5 are fucking awesome. Plus no Royal Trux. Bullshit. Somebody's trying to pull a fast one on y'all and I don't like it.

Not too shabby. Overall better than Coachella I'd say. Not getting me to NY though.

That poster kind of sucks. Decent lineup, but nothing mind-blowing for such a hyped new "east-coast Coachella."
Being the week after Pemberton, I wonder how much crossover we can expect. Since LCD Soundsystem appears to be out, and Kendrick just headlined, I wonder if Arcade Fire will be one of the headliners.

He's been at the festival the last 2 years and I remember last year during his set he said something about wanting to keep coming back. I wouldn't be mad if he had new material out. Would not be surprised if Pemberton got Major Lazer as a headliner.. The National could potentially headline as well as ASAP Rocky on Thursday night. Really hoping for FKA Twigs and Blood Orange to come to Pemberton from this lineup.

I wouldn't go as far as saying promoting a sub-headliner to headliner means he's become a yearly staple. That sounds like a pretty terrible lineup strategy.

So They're all pretty unlikely, but as always, anything is possible with the magic of flight. Blood Orange are at Pitchfork, so possible. A$AP Rocky and FKA Twigs have no conflicts that I've seen.

Tomorrowland cancelled as well (no surprise here) But this statement, hahahaha "Fortunately for young EDM fans, there are plenty of equally terrible EDM festivals..." Hahahaha

How cheeky would it be for Pemberton to announce their lineup today, right after Squamish cancels.

I hope the fuck not, because I'll be out of the country in the days following those Red Rocks dates EDIT: Thankfully, Watershed is the the weekend of the 5th, so at least we know they won't be playing there.

Count all of these acts out of Pemberton. I never thought a lot of these bands would be there but was hoping for Grimes. This festival is in the UK.

That is the whitest festival I have ever seen, and I have seen a great many white festivals.

I don't care if the undercard is underwhelming. An American festival got LCD and Radiohead on one lineup and I'm all of the jealous.

I like this undercard better than any undercard I've seen this year.

Yeah, I don't see it as too underwhelming. There is sure a shitload of EDM.
