Block Party is the easiest festival to get into.
You're freaking out, man.

Single day passes sold out in 2009 and 2010 (not sure about other years) which didn't matter back then because we were using the secret sneak-in spot but they closed that off last year. I'd put money on it selling out the night The Flaming Lips play.

I know there is a crafty mother fucker up in here that can crack the code and tell me which night The Flaming Lips are playing. Or someone who has connections with The Stranger.

Well, that was easy. The Flaming Lips facebook page says Sunday. Meaning I get to see BOTH nights of Phish AND The Flaming Lips! What a weekend!

I had a feeling the Flaming Lips would either be at CHBP or Bumbershoot, it's been way too long since they came through Seattle. On Facebook they posted the event as July 28th. I'll be waiting on single day tickets as well.

I take back what I said about Death Grips' SXSW set. I am cool with this.

I'm half tempted to come to CHBP simply to see Portugal. The Man again.

Half tempted? You need to stop teasing Seattle and actually commit to something already.

Just purchased tickets for Outside Lands. Figured I'd make that my festival this year since I can't go to Sasquatch. Anyone else going?

Yes! I just bought my ticket too. Did you get Eager Beaver price? I missed it, they must have sold out in about five minutes. And damn that convenience charge. $245 is what I ended up paying I think.
Ro and FD are planning to go, too.

I actually managed to snag 2 at the eager beaver price. It only saved me 20 bucks a piece but it's better than nothing. I'm really hoping they we get Macca as a headliner.

Keloha lineup gets announced tomorrow. MGMT and Matt & Kim headlining. Not much else interesting after that. Here's hoping they roll through Vancouver on their way up, because I probably won't make it to this.

Come to Bonnaroo davers. I just noticed that Matt & Kim are on the lineup.

Anyone know if/when Capitol Hill Block Party single day tickets will be available? I don't recognize any bands after the second line of the lineup and only want Sunday tickets to see the Flaming Lips. If I have to pay $95/ticket just to see them I'll pass.

They'll be doing single day tickets for $40.00 at most (that's the price listed on each of my tickets I got for the weekend price).

That's pretty reasonable, probably about what you'd pay to see the Flaming Lips on their own. Hopefully they don't sell enough weekend passes that single day tickets never get put on sale.

Surprised no one has posted this yet. Free show in July featuring: Mudhoney, Greg Dulli, J Mascis, Father John Misty, Shabazz Palaces with THEESatisfaction, Pissed Jeans, Shearwater, the Baptist Generals, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth (feat. Tad Doyle), and Endino’s Earthworm. lineout.thestranger.com/lineout/archives/2013/04/10/sub-pop-announces-silver-jubilee-line-upThe last Sub Pop anniversary show was really great so there's a good chance I'll be at this one as well.
