I must incorporate this into Pickle Jam's visual display.

For anyone thinking of trying to get tickets in the resale, Glastonbury tickets go back on sale Sunday, April 21st. I haven't seen anything about the time yet, but it will probably be similar to before and be 9 a.m. UK time.

Iceland Airwaves has always been on the top of my festival list for obvious reasons, and they booked fucking Kraftwerk this year. I'd be a fool not to attempt this.

A festival 2 hours from me, in Gibbons, Alberta. This is why I drive so far for festivals.

Haha Boonstock. 2 weeks ago I was talking to a guy discussing buying his Boonstock bus for Sasquatch. My group was 100% in, but then he stopped texting back. I think it would require a paint job though.... Dance floor, stripper pole, stereo, fog machine, bunk beds. It was perfect... Cool to see SIIINES on there. Creators of possibly the greatest music video of all time:

Oh ya, I forgot why I clicked on this thread: Osheaga 2013 has a ridiculous lineup. They killed it. It's 50 bands that should be sub headliners at Coachella or Sasquatch, plus the biggest headliners from Coachella and Sasquatch. lineup.osheaga.com/

Wheels are rolling... and by wheels I mean airplanes. What's the average cost for airfare out there? I need to know how much $$ I need to stuff under my pillow in the coming months.

There isn't even 5 bands on that list that would subheadline Coachella, let alone 50.

We could argue X lineup vs Y lineup forever, but the fact remains that of Coachella's 4 headliners, and Sasquatch's 4 headliners, Osheaga got 4 of those 8 bands, PLUS THE CURE.
Not to mention the ridiculous strength of their subheadliners...
Their undercard is still prety empty, but it says 20 more bands will be announced.

Osheaga is mental this year. That lineup is stacked.
Haha, I can't believe Eric Prydz is playing bumble-fuck Alberta.

Am I allowed to exagerate a little? You guys are right this small regional festival in Montreal isn't as good as the world renowned Coachella. Case closed.
I count 8 subheadliners that can't really be argued (either sub or headlined Coachella or Sasquatch this year or last).
Pretty Lights Silversun Pickups Explosions in the Sky New Order Hot Chip Vampire Weekend Lumineers Beach House
Not to mention Big Boi, Gramatik, Alt-J, Two Door Cinema club, Head and the Heart, Death Grips, Diamond Rings, Holy Ghost!, Disclosure.
Plus the mainstream stuff like Imagine Dragons, Atlus Genius, Teagen and Sara, Azealia Banks, Jimmy Eat World, Hollerado, Grouplove.
It's a solid lineup if you only compare to the top half of any festival. I don't see any gems on the bottom couple lines, but there are 20 more bands being added.
Regardless, I'm not even going, so I don't know why I'm defending this festival so hard.

They have Phoenix, Mumford, and Mackelmore. That's three, not four. If Sasquatch was anywhere other than Washington, Mackelmore wouldn't be headlining. Case in point, Squamish Festival (a mere 4 hour drive from Seattle) is less than 1/4 the size of Sasquatch (1/2 the days, less than 1/2 the attendance) and he is subbing that festival. Phoenix was a backup headliner for Coachella and isn't anywhere near what their previous headliners were. The lineup is still good, but it isn't the end all be all of music festivals.
