You been before Drew? I went in '08 and '10 myself. I went in...2006 I think? Long time ago, one of the first few years. My best friend from high school's older brother lived with a Pitchfork writer, so we got free VIP passes that year. Got to hang out backstage with Jens Lekman, Devendra Banhart, Dan Bejar, the dudes from Man Man (who were particularly cool), others. And I got free beer and food both days. I haven't been since then, but the same friend is getting free tickets for himself, so I figured I'd tag along. No VIP this time, though, it's gotten too big. See ya there buddy!!! My friend that's going to Sasquatch with me this year is going also. It is too good of a lineup to pass up. Its like a compact Primavera at the moment. Yeah and the lineup will just keep getting better. Superchunk is likely, I guess, and Pulp is heavily rumored. I expect good things. We'll have to grab a beer together.

Oxegen's lineup will be announced tomorrow. Dare to dream, right? The first time I fly over seas I'm hoping it will be to Ireland. I wouldn't mind planning a trip around that festival!

I've never been out of the country before, Pea! Ireland is certainly my number one place to visit as soon as I get the opportunity. How could it not be?! I'd fit right in with my pale skin and red hair And considering the line up tomorrow, it is a definite possibility that we may try to make it happen this year!

Ha, I thought for a second when I saw the last posters name on the board that you might have changed your name. I was happy to see you had not.

I think Electric Forest looks pretty good. Too far for me this year though. This summer I only have weekends to work with, so I'm sticking to the Northwest. Hopefully I'll make it to Bumbershoot for the first time this year. 3 day weekend just like Sasquatch.

I think I'll try and make at least one day of Bumbershoot this year. I live right outside of Seattle and I've never been. No real excuse for that.

Because I have also never been. And I've lived less than 45 minutes away from seattle for the vast majority of 18 years.

Have you ever been to the Capitol Hill Block party? It's a total clusterfuck but they usually have some good bands.
