I honestly haven't payed any attention to Vancouver's roster so I have no idea if that was their reserve or starting lineup yesterday, but no fucking way should we have allowed those 3 goals. Boss looked like a god damn amateur out there and I sure hope he isn't going to be Keller's successor. I can't say much about the PDX match though since I was pretty drunk while watching it.
it's the second leg of the Arsenal/Barcelona tie... with Arsenal leading on aggregates 2-1
I highly suspect that Arsenal will lose today. The question is whether or not Arsenal can score and keep it to a 1-goal defeat.
If you aren't sure how Champions League agregate scores rules work it's like this... hang on it gets confusing: Arsenal won the first game 2-1, therefore they hold a 1 goal lead at the end of 90 minutes. But we still have 90 minutes left to go. This time the game will be played in Spain. 1. If Arsenal win or draw today, they advance - regardless of the score. 2. If Barcelona win today by 1-0, they advance... (even though the aggregate scores are tied 2-2,) because they scored an Away goal. 3. If Barcelona win by a goal margin of anything beyond +1, then they'll advance. 4. But if Barcelona win today 2-1... the game will proceed to stoppage time (because the aggregate scores are tied at 3-3, with both teams having 1 away goal). If at the end of added time no winner is determined, the game goes into penalty kicks. 5. If Barcelona win today 3-2 or 4-3 or 5-4, etc, then Arsenal will advance because they will have scored more away goals than Barcelona.
