I predict: -Calgaryjay continues becoming confrontational to regular posters -Regular posters, already weary of Calgaryjay, tell him to stop being a jackass -Calgaryjay intentionally makes crass/distasteful posts to see how far he can 'push us' -Board disintegrates into OH MY GOD NOT THIS AGAIN debate AGAIN -Calgaryjay eventually crosses the line and gets a stern warning from the mods. Realizing he can't really 'push us' very far at all, Calgaryjay wanders away and never posts again. It's the week of the festival. Can't we just cut to the chase for once? I'm gonna stick around, just for you ;-)

No it isn't. On their website it still shows 6 more episodes for the season, starting back up in October.

They're under contract until 2013. Maybe they just want to actually try and shake up the status quo of the show to see if they can enjoy making it again.

I can't wait to see this. South Park has been coming from a really, really fucking weird place this season. No spoilers, please.

No they were under contract to produce three seasons. 13, 14, and now 15. This last episode made it pretty clear that they aren't looking to renew it.

Anyone else listened to the cast recording of The Book of Mormon? Easily some of the sharpest, funniest and most clever shit Matt and Trey have pulled out since Bigger, Longer & Uncut. It's hard to imagine living in a world without South Park, but considering the alternative is to become as tedious as The Simpsons has maybe it would be a good thing if they focused their attention on other projects.
I'm waiting until Stormy gets home tonight to see what all the fuss is about. Those guys are going to have a Tony pretty soon to put in the spot on their mantle where the Oscar that fucking Phil Collins stole from them should have gone. I guess I can imagine that South Park is starting to seem like small potatoes to them.
