Im intrigued now. Whats that from? Workaholics. The new show on Comedy Central Even though I rarely watch this type of television, I had a friend play me the first episode because it was available OnDemand by my cable provider. He specifically made my watch it for the poo dollar scene, something we witnessed a couple times at the divest dive bar in Portland five years ago. That first episode made me laugh out loud at least four times. Some of the subsequent episodes are kind of boring, and the show can be extremely cheezy, but I'm still hooked. There is something about working a shitty job and getting wasted every other night that I can relate to. I would recommend watching the Drug Test episode (the first one), because it was the funniest in my opinion.

I'm assuming I'm the only one dumb enough to stick with the killing through the season finale tonight but that was some of the worst television I've ever seen

The first episode showed promise and I kept watching hoping they would deliver on it. They didn't. They didn't even come close. The second half of the season has been a trainwreck and the finale was one of the most insulting things I've ever seen.

Started off pretty well but it started getting very tedious. Looks like I got out at the right time. So.....who killed Rosie?

It typically wouldn't be my cup of tea, but there is something that I just love about it. I ripped through ten episodes in one night right after Sasquatch.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm also on episode twelve of Twin Peaks, so it's not surprising.

Twin Peaks is like the best thing that has ever been on television. I've heard of that show The Killing, but if I ever felt the need to sit down and watch it I'd just re-watch Twin Peaks again.

I was just reading the wikipedia page for The Killing, and it pretty much looks like Twin Peaks in the microwave.

The thing that's blowing me away about Twin Peaks is that it was all on network television once upon a time. This has got to be the most bizarre, anachronistic thing every to appear on network television for thirty hours. I would like to know the story behind that.

More interesting still is that Twin Peaks was huge. At least for the first half of the series, it was a bigger deal than LOST.

The Killing is trying to be twin peaks but it doesn't have any of the things that made twin peaks interesting. The worst part is that the show's creator is going around saying she's never seen twin peaks while she attempts to rip off every aspect of it she can

You probably shouldn't be allowed to make a murder-mystery TV show unless you've seen Twin Peaks, right?

Never seen Twin Peaks but I really feel like I should watch it. However, I absolutely hated Mulholland Drive, which kind of turned me off of anything Lynch. Should I still go ahead and give Twin Peaks a shot?

Well it is totally bizarre, but not so hard to watch like Mulholland Drive. There are definitely things to figure out but it isn't so emotionally raw. It is very Lynch, though, very weird and Lynchian.
