I'm also enjoying the piss out of Fargo, as well as BBT, but his character is essentially, exactly, this guy.

Better sense of humor, which is far more critical in a serialized show than a movie imo.

We just started watching Silicon Valley last night and I really like it. Super funny. I was definitely drawn to it because of Kumail Nanjiani & TJ Miller but the whole cast is pretty fucking hilarious. I was trying to recommend it to a friend and it turns out she went to high school with the lead actor. Dude had previously been cast in the office spinoff about Dwight's farm so she was stoked that he had managed to find something that wasn't going to be GODAWFUL.

Notice also that Glen Howerton is essentially Brad Pitt from Burn After Reading, and Oliver Platt is essentially Nathan Arizona in Raising Arizona. And the pair of hitmen which includes that deaf guy are represented in, like, half of all of the Coen brothers films -- pairs of men with dubious connections who have their own, road-worn method of communication who Just Aren't Having It Today. ALSO: Anyone else notice the thing from last night's Fargo that ties the events of the film to the series? I got a real kick out of that.

My favorite is Martin Starr, who I already love but is winning me over even further with his frequent hailing of Satan.

R.I.P. Community.
Yay Hannibal season 3!
NBC sure does know how to fuck with your emotions.

I don't think I could have dealt with Hannibal being canceled. Community will wrap itself up one way or another, so it's a bummer but it's okay.

Fun fact: With its season 3 renewal bringing it to 39 total episodes, Hannibal will become Bryan Fuller's longest-running show and first to ever surpass 2 seasons. (The previous record holder was Dead Like Me at 29 episodes, although Fuller parted ways with the show after only the first five.)

I hate to see Community go because of the love I have for the first three seasons, but it makes sense and I can't be too upset. At least we got 4 good seasons out of it!

Poor Bryan Fuller. You make the most beautiful shows and they all get canceled. I love that guy and I was pretty sure we wouldn't get another season of Hannibal so I am really stoked.

ALSO: Anyone else notice the thing from last night's Fargo that ties the events of the film to the series? I got a real kick out of that. I finally got around to watching this week's episode after missing it Tuesday night and I was totally into that. Right after we watched last week's episode, my girlfriend said "I wonder if the show will address happened to the bag money from the movie?" Lo and behold, there it is in the opening scene. Loved it.

This week's episode of Fargo seriously fucked me up. Like, I think I need counseling. I feel emotionally raped.
