Sooo would it be too soon to start talking about what kinds of fun gear we're bringing for next year? My borderline OCD levels of early Sasquatch planning are helping to get me through the long wait until May.
Anyone learn some valuable camping lessons this year? I feel like I'm finally perfecting my Sasquatch technique. Looking forward to building more of a shelter by our tent this year - last year we brought a canopy to shield from sun and rain but I always overlook the wind in the gorge. Definitely bringing some canopy walls this time around.

Depending on how much money you care to spend/how often you camp outside of Sasquatch, I HIGHLY recommend the REI Camp Bed 3.5 - it feels like sleeping on a goddamn cloud. Not practical for backpacking but if you're a car camper like me, it will be one of the best purchases you ever make.

I wish so badly that we could have camp fires. I am also incredibly thankful that we can't since many people tripping balls would set themselves and/or surrounding campsites on fire. But still, my only real complaint about gorge camping is that there isn't a nice source of heat to sit around while drinking and talking. Definitely investing in long underwear this year.
