I agreed to sub for a softball team tonight. Havent played baseball in probably over a decade. I hate sucking at shit. Maybe I'll get drunk beforehand (I guess this is the team's ritual), and so I can blame my sucking on being drunk. I'm pretty sure getting drunk is every softball team's ritual. It's not softball unless you're at least half in the bag. Once we played a sober team and they mopped the floor with us. |

I think I'd play better a little drunk. I do pretty much everything better a little drunk. My problem is I have a hard time sticking to "a little drunk".. and end up "completely embarrassingly shitfaced".

Softball is like golf, pool and bowling. A couple beers settle the nerves and generally make you play better. Once you get past the relaxed but not that drunk phase then it's all downhill from there.
