Anyone know how cell service is at Sasquatch?? Anyone think Beartooth is a good idea for staying in touch with friends?? (www.beartooth.com - turns your phone into a walkie talkie that can text and stuff) It used to be terrible, but it's gotten much better the last couple years. Staying charged is more of a challenge than getting reception now.

I am 99% sure that is a spam bot, but I guess I'll allow it.

Tomorrow is going to be incredibly busy for me (packing, preparing, organizing), and then I'm catching the first ferry on Thursday to begin my Sasquatch adventure. I just wanted to take this moment to wish you all safe travels and I hope everyone has a great Sasquatch weekend. Make sure to say hi if you see me, and I look forward to randomly running into all my board friends, and the new ones I'm sure to make. See y'all at Sasquatch!

At the store, no music playing, dancing to the song in my head, people look at me weird. I don't belong out here. I need Sasquatch back.

My dudes, the post-squatch depression is hitting me hard today. I just keep thinking about that sour look on Robert Smith's face after It Can Never Be the Same and how knew he was disappointed and the show was basically over and I may never get to see him again. Then I start crying. Then I start looking on Stubhub for tickets to their show in Chicago next weekend and pricing flights. Then I start justifying to myself how it would be perfectly reasonable to spend $1000+ to fly to Chicago for a night just to see them one more time. I really need someone to talk me out of this before I do something highly irresponsible.

It's interesting they decided to go back to 3 days after the shit fit all the kids threw in 2014.

We should get a good idea on pricing during presale, which should be this weekend right? The way prices have climbed over the years I'm not holding my breath. The price of the weekend pass will decrease, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than 3/4 what it was last year.

I 100% guarantee you the price will be either the same as 2016 or higher.

I 100% guarantee you the price will be either the same as 2016 or higher. Like per day, or we are going to pay the same or more for one day less?

The way I see it, the return to three days was a reaction to one of two things:
1. A reaction to criticism re: high cost. A three day festival is cheaper to produce, thus less risk for JiveNation and possibly lower ticket prices.
2. A reaction to criticism re: quality of the lineup. Take the same for day budget and use it to book three days of more expensive bands and keep ticket prices the same.
Possibly some compromise between the two.
