Part of me is wondering just how far I can push my husband - he is a Sasquatch Virgin and I'd like for him to enjoy it enough to come back with me again :-) Most of us here will say that "the people" is half (if not more) of the reason they go to Sasquatch each year. Think of what your own reasons are going for each year. I'm betting your answer is going to be very similar. So, in that case, why would you think that isolating your husband away from 50% of what makes this festival so special into a hotel room is going to convert him into a regular attendee? I am not a camper, I loathe it even, but ever since my first Sasquatch I can't wait to bust out my tent for any music festival. Try Wildhorse if you want a little more comfort, but don't deprive your husband of the essential Sasquatch experience his first time out. Well put. I do love the people :-)

Trying to get 9 adults with various serious mental illnesses to complete their daily chores and arrange dinner for themselves is about as stressful as it sounds. My day would have been easier if I cleaned the house and cooked dinner for them.
SO IM DEFINITELY COMING TO SASQUATCH. IM NOT GIVING UP MY WEEKENDS FOR THIS AND NOT GETTING TO SASQ IT THE FUCK UP.

An employee called in sick and I'm covering an extra 8hrs at a group home this weekend as well. I don't mind I guess, the clients there are usually pretty fun.

How about this for weird as fuck. I ran into topspin at the Sounders match yesterday. I wouldn't have ever recognized him but he pointed me out. Hi topspin!

Pardon me if there is a thread for this somewhere, but I couldn't find one. Bit of a negative nelly topic, but what is the WORST Sasquatch act you all have seen?

Off the top of my head:
- Street Sweeper Social Club was truly dreadful performance. Main stage set in the afternoon in 2009, and they sounded awful, the crowd wasn't into it, and it almost became a comedy set because we were all making fun of them. Also they couldn't stop introducing themselves after every song. Maybe because their name is also terrible?
- I might get lynched for this one, but The Mars Volta in 2008 were awful. Everyone looked like they were on a different hard drug, everyone was playing off-key and out of sync, and the lead singer was so coked up he started throwing cymbals into the crowd. Also he tried to grab one of the video cameras off of a dude who was filming, which was hilarious. I eventually left and caught the last few songs of Kinski on the Yeti stage because I couldn't fucking stand whatever was going on down there.

Few of us liked that set. That is the one I was guessing in my post above haha

Can't narrow it down to one:
Surfer Blood (2011, I like them a lot but they were/are terrible live) The Knux (2009) The Mars Volta (2008...and I really like them) Ben Harper (2006, it wouldn't end!) Ozomatli (every fucking time they come) HIM (2006)
I'm actually surprised how short that list is. I generally am able to find something good to watch but occasionally you're stuck with no good choices.

The Mars Volta (2008...and I really like them) This was the worst part! I truly adored Mars Volta at the time, and was super amped for that set. Since then I haven't been able to listen to them the same way.
