Off work sick for the second day in a row. Dreampt my sister got slashed up by a stalker, was bleeding to death, and I was trying to keep her alive inside of a camera bag. Noone would call 9-1-1. I hate sleeping in.

I don't know why I'm still shocked to new new Canadian "u" words on a daily basis around here.

I'm doing that Homeless For a Night fundraiser again this year. It's on June 1st, so while you guys are living in District 9, I'll also be sleeping under the stars, just with much much less music. Anyway, if anybody is interested in helping youth in need, I've got a page set up for credit card donations. If you happen to be in Edmonton and you have impeccable timing, you may even see me playing guitar (or maybe melodica or something wacky) on Whyte Ave for nickels between now and then. If you do happen to see me, say hi even if you don't make a donation. Anyway, that's that. Here's the link www.gifttool.com/athon/MyFundraisingPage?ID=1312&AID=1880&PID=267164/endshamelessselfpromotion

I get it's not how you spell it, but if you pronounced every word how you think it sounds, than you would have to eliminate a lot of words from your vocabulary. Don't get me wrong, I don't really get the point of the U to start with, but it is what it is. Also I tried hard to edit out the U's in that post, but missed one, DOH!

Funny story: I was talking to my friend and he was saying how he edited a Wikipedia article because some dumbass couldn't spell the word mold right. I asked him how they spelled it and he said, "mould." I then informed him that a Canadian or Brit could have spelled it like that and been correct.

In the word "your" you have the same sound.

Oh I didn't mean to say you're idiots, not at all; just Pea (and others?) always call us out when we do it, that's why I edit. Plus as I've mentioned before I hate the red underline of spell check in my post.

I just don't ever talk to Ya'll sub 49 dwellers very often, so it's weird to get called out .

When I went to Colorado and they said I had an accent, I was totally self conscious about it afterwards haha.

I firmly stand behind the "eh." It's fun as hell to say! Americans say "huh" almost as frequently as y'all say "eh," anyway.
