Awesome.
Shifting topics (every thread IS every thread, after all), on facebook today, the lil' "people you may know" area said "Rebecca Black" in it. My immediate reaction was "THAT NAME SOUNDS SO FAMILIAR I should further investigate" which caused me to click before I realized that I know that name because of the infamous song about Friday that's attached to it.
Well, clicking this was definitely a happy accident. There was further proof that Rebecca Black really relates to the public on more than just their views of Fridays.
Here's the first status I saw upon clicking this: "I hate it when you’re singing along to something and the artist gets the words wrong."

A .rar is a compressed file (or files) that need to be uncompressed for you to see the actual contents. Anything can be compressed into a .rar. Games, movies, mp3's you name it. The only time I consciously download .rar's is for PC games because it's hard to find them any other way, and easy to identify trusted uploaders because the same groups do the quality releases. Does this mean .zip's are fucked too? I NEED MY .ZIP's BROS! Pretty much any kind of compressed file is risky. You never know what you're downloading.

I know I'm going to come off as some sort of racist for saying this, but I don't understand why people from countries where they walk on the left side of the sidewalk refuse to walk on the right side while visiting/residing in the states. I don't care if you don't speak English, or if your culture is much different than mine, but would you drive on the left side of the road here to make a similar point? I'm nice enough to get out of your way, but often I feel like I should either run you over, or make you get out of my way. Everyone in North America (as the Canadians are calling it) walks on the right side, so it's not like it takes you six months to figure this out. If you are BRAND FUCKING NEW, ok, you are allowed to make this mistake, but it shouldn't take you more than a couple days to realize everyone is walking on the right side. If you don't adapt, you are basically telling everyone their rules are stupid, and you won't comply.

Everyone in North America (as the Canadians are calling it) Sorry, Have we been using this wrong or something, I'm not sure I understand the dig (if there is one). Also, I totally have thought this exact thought, regarding the sidewalk thing. But I seriously think it has less to do with ethnicity, and more to do with these people having a total disregard for anything except themselves.

A very American middle aged lady gave me a nasty fucking look when I went to pass on her right in the grocery store today. I've always figured it was common sense and courtesy. Times is a changin...

Wait I'm confused. When you say walk on the right, do you mean like people on going the oposite direction as you should be on your left or do you mean on things like escalators you stand on the left and walk on the right? I've always walked the same way I drive, people in the oposite direction are on the left and when you are passing slow or stopped people they are on your right. Is that what we are talking about? And did you see someone just walking into a steady flow of people when everyone else going his direction was on the other side? I dont think thats a cultural difference, it's just plain stupidity.
And rusty, I think he's refering to I and maybe other Canadians call America + Canada North America when really it should include Mexico and those other places that dont matter.

You guys can easily resolve this non-issue by ducking your head, lowering your shoulders, and bowling through every crowd you encounter on the sidewalk.

Everyone in North America (as the Canadians are calling it) Sorry, Have we been using this wrong or something, I'm not sure I understand the dig (if there is one). Well yes, it was a deliberant diss on Canadians. As much as I like you folks, this CanCon thing has thrown me for a gigantic loop about what music Canadians listen to. When more than one Canadian proclaimed Kasabian has radio play in "North America," I just figured there was some weird rule in Canada that bands like Kasabian have to be played on the radio too, since Canada is basically France. EDIT: I have no idea what you are speaking of Davers, as usual.

I have no idea what you are speaking of Davers, as usual. The first part or the second part? Or both? I guess it doesnt really matter, I'll just carry on making no sense regardless.

I believe that was almost 100% due to my post about Kasabian.
