Is it sad that I get butterflies in my stomach every time I think about thanksgiving?

You eat butterflies on thanksgiving? I mean, I've heard they're good on potatoes, but still...

Not news: couple making out at my work. Ultrafark: its the girl's 19 birthday and the guy is 48. What the fucking fuck. You never mentioned that you work in South Carolina.

Thanksgiving was awesome, although I'm still suffering after 2 turkey dinners (family, friends).
I also support cross-border thanksgivings. The timing is great. You get to have turkey dinner legitimately once / month from October to December. How could that possibly be a bad thing? I went to San Diego for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago and it was a good way to keep my stomach limber in between our Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Charleston got named the number 1 tourist destination in the US by Conde Nest Traveler. THAT'S RIGHT, FUCK YOU SAN FRANCISCO AND YOUR 18 YEAR REIGN AT THE NUMBER ONE SPOT
But seriously, I'm not happy about this. I'm about to see ten times the amount of Hawaiian shirts, visors, and fanny packs, which are already overpopulating Charleston... yikes.

I love that it implies that Americans are equally exited about santa and evil-doers. Also, that they yell everything that has anything to do with the word America.

So last weekend I was house sitting and was fairly drunk, turned on the t.v and it was on the sports channel and Formula 1 racing was on. The race had just started, and I watched the whole thing. I was completely captivated by the entire thing, I couldn't look away, I was instantly hooked. Not knowing a single person in the race, I chose who I liked based purely on name only. Since then I have been obsessed, and have been trying to learn as much as possible about the sport. There seems to be a lot to it, and the announcers don't really help the watcher with no knowledge. I was just wondering if anyone here had any knowledge about the sport, as the internet has not really helped me.

The best thing about Formula 1 is insinuating that fans of it give a shit about NASCAR too. I have a friend who thinks Formula 1 is just the bee's knees, so I will periodically ask him about shit like the Indy 500 or whatever the hell happens in NASCAR.

What I know about race cars is that a group of race car fans beat the odds and got what they paid for this weekend.
