Name: Dawit What my user name means: DAWit+dog= dawdog From: Calgary, AB Favourite artists: Bon iver, arkells, mother mother, awolnation, blind pilot, bloc party, bright eyes, Dan Mangan, Hey rosetta!, blah blah blah All- time favourite artist: City and Colour First Concert: Weezer Last Concert: Alexisonfire farewell tour All-time favourite concert: Bon Iver at Sasquatch last year! Been lurking for a couple of years, finally decided to join in the fun! Soooo stoked for this year!
That Bon Iver set last year was mind blowing. Easily into my top 5 alltime.. (I've seen probably 300+ sets in my life, for retrospect)
Yeah, thats like 299 more Bon Iver sets than I've been to. Not sure if my math checks out, but yours does! But seriously that was maybe the most goosepoop inducing experience of my life. Everyone chanting "what might have been lost" was awesome! I live for those moments.

That was Bon Iver in 2009. That... yeah, that was one of my favorite Sasquatch sets ever.
A far cry from Bon Iver in 2012, which was dismally boring (with the exception of that circular breathing saxophone solo, which is quite possibly the most impressive display of musicianship I have ever witnessed).
Name: Ian What my user name represents/means: At my first Sasquatch I had about ten people run up to me thinking I was their long lost friend Tony. They all yelled "Ton-ey!", and it has been my nickname ever since. From: Ephrata, WA Favorite Bands: The Mountain Goats, The National, Against Me!, Frank Turner, Silversun Pickups, LCD Soundsystem, The Gaslight Anthem, Frightened Rabbit, Nine Inch Nails, Passion Pit My All-Time Favorite Artist: The Mountain Goats First Concert Attended: Sasquatch '09 Last Concert Attended: Built to Spill in Pullman All time Favorite Concert: The Mountain Goats solo tour in Vancouver, BC June 2012 All time Favorite Festival: Sasquatch Oh-Ten Sasquatches Attended: 09 - 12 Sasquatch Wishlist: I'm too excited for the Sasquatch coming up to even start thinking about next year.
Been creeping the forums for awhile, thought it was about time I got on here for real.
I noticed there is an independent music venue in Pullman now. I went to school there 02-06 and the only shows we got were put on by the school (Swollen Members, The Wailers..maybe some others). I have seen some good shows getting booked there over the last year. Wish I could have had those while I lived there! Anyways, welcome aboard
Name: Brian What my user name represents/means: Fan of Guided by Voices. I'm from southern Ohio, they're from southern Ohio, I feel like it's good to support acts that are where you're from, plus their catalog is pretty awesome From: Cincinnati, Ohio originally but living in Eugene, OR now Favorite Bands: Guided by Voices/Robert Pollard, The Beatles, Nirvana, The White Stripes/Jack White, Primus, Olivia Tremor Control, Pearl Jam, Tijuana Panthers, Led Zeppelin, OFF!, Built to Spill/Halobenders, basically guitar and drums based stuff is what I enjoy the most generally speaking My All-Time Favorite Artist: Robert Pollard First Concert Attended: Nirvana, Dayton Hara Arena, 1993 Last Concert Attended: Jeff Mangum All time Favourite Concert: I can't really pick one, in 2012 though it was definitely Primus All time Favourite Festival: Deluna Fest 2012, killer lineup for the kind of music I like Sasquatches Attended: This will be my first Sasquatch Wishlist: I originally booked for Primus + Cake + Arctic Monkeys + Built to Spill but after checking out the other acts there's a lot that I liked: Tame Impala, Vampire Weekend, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Atlas Genius, Red Fang, Japandroids, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (their new single Let the Day Begin is great brit-pop), Dropkick Murphys, Alt-J, Lumineers, Death Grips, Elvis Costello (was surprised how many of his songs I knew that I didn't realize were his), Imagine Dragons
Oh I did the wishlist wrong, I thought it was "WATCHLIST" ... Whateva, I'm leavin it
Name: Adam What my user name represents/means: can't say I put much thought into it, but it sounded like a good hacker handle. From: Vancouver, BC Favorite Bands: There are so many, but I suppose I've always been partial to artists who could sound really good on an acoustic set. Not that they HAVE to play acoustic instruments... just that they have to have the potential to survive as an artist in a post-apocalyptic world where electricity is rationed very carefully. I do make some exceptions to this rule though; Bassnectar is pretty awesome... erm well... glowsticks are pretty awesome. My All-Time Favorite Artist: Sufjan Stevens (on some days) First Concert Attended: When I was 13 I had a band called James Bondage, we played for my friend's mom and sister in their basement... then I saw some nobody punk band called Death Tsunamis or something, but my first real concert was probably Primus. Last Concert Attended: The Ruffled Feathers at a local event All time Favourite Concert: Decembrists in 2007 at Helena Middle School All time Favourite Festival: Fuji Rock 2010 Sasquatches Attended: 2011 Sasquatch Wishlist: LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk, David Bowie, Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, Hot Chip, Roots, White Stripes, I am really into the Alabama Shakes at the moment... Spice Girls, Chuck Berry, Grateful Dead, the Beatles (ALL of them), & Jackson 5 (as kids)... Ronald Jenkees... I'll stop.
I'll add that this year I'm stoked to see all 4 headliners, Bloc Party, Edward Sharpe, Arctic Monkeys, Lumineers, Chvrches, Primus 3D, Devendra Banhart, and oh so many more...

My All-Time Favorite Artist: Colin Meloy or Isaac Brock (If I reaaally have to choose)
First Concert Attended: Some crappy local punk band I'm sure
Last Concert Attended: Portugal. The Man a couple months ago. They're from here so they come here often. Not much else does....Alaska has a horrible music scene
All time Favourite Concert: Modest Mouse at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland in 2008, or Matt&Kim at Bonnaroo 2011
All time Favourite Festival: The line up for Bonnaroo 2011 was INSANE. The heat was unbearable though
