The hat is what makes him awesome. Everyone has glowsticks... but there's only one of those fucking hats!

Name: Elisabeth What my user name represents/means: I just really love Pavement ::swoon:: Just don't mention them much around any of the rest of the board or they'll all mention how awful Pavement is.

We don't even have to anymore. As soon as Pavement gets mentioned, you point out how much everyone else thinks they suck. It's a beautiful system we have here.

Does Bottlescrew Bills have wi-fi? You could kill two birds with one stone.

Last name is not Neeson. He is a bad, bad man.
Bottlescrew Bills is the greatest. I'm making pretty sweet progress on my passport ever since I moved downtown. I should just take a weekend and knock the rest off in one swoop.

The only problem with Bottlescrew Bills is that the passport takes a lot of dedication to complete. Sadly I just can't commit to drinking once or twice / week for an entire year. I do enjoy going there and trying out new beer once in a while though. Pretty convenient since I live 5 blocks from there.

Kentucky! I didn't meet anyone from the south at Sasquatch last year, but I do have an interesting story in the thread I just started about ALMOST meeting someone from the south-- but not quite. Do you fly?

I've got family in KY. They're insane UK fans. I'm in Louisville at least once a year. Usually twice. That's crazy! Where are you from in KY?
Yeah, I'll be flying. How about you?
I'm living in Pittsburgh at the moment, but I'll be back in the ATL by the end of the summer. I miss it. There is such a contrast between the south and the north, its insane. I miss the cliche southern hospitality.

I'm from way Eastern Kentucky (hello, Accent!) but I live actually closer to Nashville now-- on the Ky/Tn border. I'm actually about 200 miles from Bonnaroo-- but I love Sasquatch wayyy more.

Seriously-- I went to both last year. I happened to win tickets to Bonnaroo last minute and it was really nothing at all like Sasquatch (aside from, you know, the whole "festival" thing.) Sasquatch is just free. That's the best way I can describe it. It's the free-est damn place in the entire universe. Bonnaroo, in contrast, is a bunch of strange mid-aged hippies and bros (not the Panda Bear kind) who are all kind of crowding in on you at all times. The camping is uncomfortable, too. Also, there's no real topographical difference from one end of Bonnaroo to the other, so you really don't get the whole breath-taking life-changing "Oh my god, there it is!" experience either. You know what I'm talking about. That feeling you get when you listen to "Return to Innocence" ? Like the sun god is blessing you with this beautiful liminal festival experience? Yeah. Doesn't happen at Bonnaroo.
