Going to see Baths on Wednesday. Even though as I said before it sounds like music from one of those commercials for a medication that has a long list of side effects and you should ask your doctor before using it.
I hate to repeat myself but that one was pretty on the nose.

Must have been a nose medication. /badjoke Let us know how that is, that's one of those bedroom artists you complain about who's sound rarely translates live - but I really loved that Baths album.

Yeah I'm desperately uninterested but a couple of my friends want me to go. Plus it's at one of the venues in town that I'm particularly fond of, and it's only eight dollars.

I saw Bath's a couple days ago and it was a pretty good show. He has a lot of energy and really makes it look like he's doing a lot on stage. All of the songs from Cerulean went over really well but he also played a lot of new stuff which wasn't that interesting really... HG, make sure to get there for the opener Braids, they were really good and are easily worth your eight bucks alone

It was pretty sick. Part of a week-long concert series by the local alternative station. Other nights I attended were Tokyo Police Club + Neon Trees and Mimicking Birds + Broken Bells.

All time Favourite Concert: Death Cab at Red Rocks Summer '08 If I remember correctly, that show had some sweet openers. My sister went and I was jealous. That same summer, I'm pretty sure Modest Mouse played there, too, with The National.

That same summer, I'm pretty sure Modest Mouse played there, too, with The National. I'm pretty sure it was just them and Rogue Wave, but I could be wrong. I just realized that their set at Sasquatch this year will be exactly 3 years after that show. Man, I would love to move to Denver, if only to be closer to Red Rocks.

Rogue Wave sounds right, and I was wrong. And no, you don't want to live in Denver.

^ that Arcade Fire show was excellent. Won a radio contest in Edmonton, they packed us onto a bus and fed us free beer at Hudson's, then off to the show and home.
It was a hell of a Sunday. The Monday morning was pretty rough though.

The Monday morning was pretty rough though. NICE. It was an amazing show. Even tough the Stampede Corral is a shit ass venue they seemed to sound spectacular. Lot's of fun. Did they not play Edmonton? I can't seem to remember.

They did not. There was a scheduling conflict as a result of the Saskatoon venue having limited availability. Or at least that's the story I heard.
