Have you seen AF live before? I respect the love for Squatch, but you should definitely see AF. I saw them last summer. Spoon opened for them. Though I enjoyed Spoon more than AF, that's just because I'm crushing on Britt Daniel. AF are definitely worth seeing--they've got a great stage presence. You should go if you haven't seen them before. IMO.

I think Snorlax has never been to a concert ever. You are correct. I've never seen ANYONE live. I want Sasquatch to pop my cherry. My live music cherry.

I think Snorlax has never been to a concert ever. Woah, woah, srsly?? Wow! Man, you're gonna have a damn good time at Sasquatch. If that is the case, then I retract my above statement.

You are in for the dissapointment of a lifetime. Especially when you reach the top of the main stage hill and gaze upon the miles and miles of ugliness behind it.

Actually to be completely honest, there is nothing quite like seeing the expression on someone's face the first time they see the stage and the backdrop. Absolutely priceless.

If there are any Gorge newbies in my group I always try and be present as they crest the hill overlooking the amphitheater. It helps me relive my first time. I hadn't even seen pictures of the place before I saw it in person for the first time. I was floored.

My friend literally had a "double rainbow" magnitude reaction last year. God it was the best.

[Sort of] Back on topic:
So I heard this b-side from Arcade Fire and I can't find the name of it anywhere! Someone put it on a mix cd for me, and even they don't know the name of it.
The opening lyrics go "I've been thinking, it's only a matter of time/before the sun and the stars all align..."
I need the name of this song: HELP!

Sea Dreamer by Wildlife.
They sound nothing like AF, IMO.

agreed. i admit i've never heard of wildlife. but in light of their strange association with arcade fire - i now have zero interest in checking them out at all.

I saw that post on the PJ forum, too. hmmmm. Yep that's me! This is the strangest dupe since Molly Hatchet ripped off Lynyrd Skynyrd. I've been had! And Stamper, yes, I did put that on the PJ message board and I am most certainly not in the band. Although I do think this Wildlife song is much better than anything Arcade Fire has ever put out.
