It figures that what God sounds like. Annoying and never ending I really do like that song, and the last 4 minutes WOULD be incredible if not for the same phrase repeated 73525 times.

Sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun It's 5 min and the only word and absolutely amazing. Repetition can be magic Repetition can be magic. That being said I have not heard this Iron and Wine song.

Judge for yourself FD. All I'm saying is I think the vocals get REALLY annoying as it passes the half way mark. The word "become" just sounds horrible the way it's strung together. It's a shame too because the music builds and builds really well over that time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jYvceNPDhU

Before I listened to the album, there were some people that were saying that this was the best song Sam Beam ever made. And then I listened to it and was like "Seriously?" When I listened to it for the second time, as soon as I heard the word "become" I turned it off.

Give it a few more chances. I wasn't nuts about the album the first time I heard it, but every time I listen to it, I recognize that holy shit it's amazing a little more.

I'll be picking up the album tomorrow anyway so I'm sure I'll be giving it plenty of more spins. I would love for it to grow on, I really really would!

There are at least 10 songs on The Suburbs that are better than that one.
