I was inspired by Gibbons and his "10 must haves" puzzles. So I was just chillin' this morning drinking some coffee and listening to some tunes and I thought it would be fun to create a puzzle depicting what I am currently listening to. I give credit to Gibbons for the idea. So try to figure out what I am listening to. If you guess fairly quickly then I will try to make the next one more difficult.

NPR is streaming SXSW live right now. I've got my computer hooked to my TV. Felice Brothers are about to perform. I'm gonna drink some beers and pretend I am there. I just thought I would let you all know. A little band named Bright Eyes in on after Felice Brothers.

I don't think it's going to end up being better than Hospice but it doesn't really sound like a sophomore slump either Tough to make a sophomore slump with your fifth studio album. Just breakin' balls.

I wish I could make some holier-than-thou semantic argument about new members joining but I honestly had no idea they had 2 other albums
best part is I now get to listen to 2 albums that will probably disappoint me immensely!

Bright Eyes - NPR video stream of SXSW
They're kicking so much ass. This is amazing
I apologize for beating a dead horse but I just had to share my excitement. Red Hook Mud Slingers and SXSW makes for a great Saturday evening.

I woke up with a Bright Eyes SXSW hangover. I found something to cure that though:
M.Ward: Post-war
"God, it's great to be alive. It takes the skin right off my hide to think I'll have to give it all up someday"

Death from Above 1979 - Heads Up!
Just now hearing this for my first time. Holy shit! Even better than their full length. I can't wait to listen to their other EP and the remix/b-sides album next.

I'm going to check it out. I'm intrigued now after watching that video of the riots.

Yea, the Romantic Nights EP. It really isn't essential. It has an earlier version of Romantic Nights, a Romantic Nights remix, Pull Out (which is on their full length also), and 1 other song called We Don't Sleep at Night.
Still a fun listen though.

I actually checked my itunes to see if there was one called Romantic Nights too. There wasn't. I just assumed you had a song I didn't. haha

Elliott Smith - From a Basement on a Hill
Unbelievable music. It makes me feel like I am floating on a cloud of pure bliss every time I listen to it.

Agreed, and to quote the song, King's Crossing IS the main attraction.
