I'd like to personally apologize for the current song playing on my station right now. I am in no way affiliated with/appreciate Brandon Flowers' solo career. This song was preselected.
That is all.

Switch--Just heard Windows. I dig it too.
I thought their collaboration was pretty solid. It was safe, but solid. In windows, you can totally hear a happy clash of Gnarls Barkley/The Shins influence. I didn't realize they were releasing more stuff. I'm glad to hear it. I will have to get my hands on it at the end of this month.
Other than Broken Bells, thanks to Switch, I'm listening to "Silvia" by Miike Snow. That's a band I'd love to see. I missed them last year and I'm still pretty bitter about it. Thanks to a ton of alcohol in my system that first day--I missed them AND V. Weekend AND MMJ!. Humph. Were they good last year?

I didn't get to see Miike Snow either. The mainstage was too awesome. Broken Social Scene and then The National. I couldn't leave my spot up front on the floor. My little brother really loves Miike Snow and wanted to see them as well. Decisions, decisions.

Miike Snow seems like such a flash in the pan type band, and I have really no interest in seeing them live, but god damn is their album a sweet listen.

The live show was just ok last year. I expected more to be honest but we made the most of it.

Yea that seems to be the general consensus from everyone that caught their set. Kind of like Camera Obscura for me :/

Yea that seems to be the general consensus from everyone that caught their set. Kind of like Camera Obscura for me :/ Strange, I had a blast at their gig last year. Everyone I talked to did as well, but my group of friends went in WAY into Miike Snow. Their album is solid start to finish, and I felt they adapted it well to a live performance. Will definitely see them again next time I have the chance!

I also loved the album. I still do, I dunno why the live set just didn't impress me.

This video is horrible quality, but serves the purpose of showing how everyone lost their shit during this gig. Yeah, it's during their big song, but much of their performance was like this for me.
This video all features a magical unicorn, an animal hat, and not one but two mau5heads.

Before anyone says anything, wrong kid STILL died but 'The Calendar Hung Itself' is still a rad song. Bright Eyes is a terrible band, but Fevers and Mirrors is not a terrible album.
WKD:Fevers and Mirrors -- > DMB:Crash
