I'm excited about it too because I've never been to Madison Square Garden either. They're going to put on a kick ass show. Fur reels.

I cannot wait to get the album next Tuesday. Doing my best to hold of listening to it beforehand but after reading these comments it's getting harder to hold off. R.E.M. is my second favorite band of all time and I personally think they are not capable of putting out a bad album. I listened to Reveal and Up earlier today and forgot how good those two albums are. I think I am now going to end my night with a little New Adventures in Hi-Fi! R.E.M. are definitely one of my all-time favorites too, but they are absolutely capable of putting out really, really shitty records - Reveal being the worst offender, and Up being right behind it. The bulk of the 00's were not kind to R.E.M.; by my estimation, they did not recover from the loss of Bill Berry until yesterday morning.

Black Mountain - In The Future Antlers - Hospice Wye Oak - The Knot Fitz & The Tantrums - Pickin' Up The Pieces Robyn - Body Talk Pt. 1 Robyn - Body Talk Pt. 2 Ratatat - Lp4 Death From Above 1979 - You're A Woman I'm A Machine Skrillex - Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites Ep Against Me! - White Crosses
I chose LP4 before reading the thread that turned into the Ratatat thread. Apparently I was listening to it at roughly the same time as Gramma.

Young the Giant - Young the Giant The Head & the Heart - The Head & the Heart Bright Eyes - The People's Key Local Natives - Gorilla Manor
I am extremely jealous that I am not attending Sasquatch this year since finding out some awesome new bands that I had never heard before the line up came out including The Head & the Heart, Young the Giant and especially White Denim. Great stuff and all of you that are going are going to have a kick ass time.

Hey Know, you seem to be listening your way through the lineup (based on this thread). Are there any bands that you didn't know before the lineup that you are excited about now, if so which ones?
Edit: this question is directed at everyone actually.
