Going to listen to that Soundcloud stuff later, is it as awesome as I'm hearing? Pretty incredible that he just decided to upload 100+ unreleased tracks!

All of the stuff I bought yesterday (check haul thread if you care) This is why I don't use the haul thread, because I always listen to the records that I buy. It's like the Upcoming Shows/Reviews threads. They should be one in the same because a review that I give for a Seattle show is also going to function as an upcoming show for Vancouver or Portland.

Also, How is this? I'm planning on checking it out but I haven't heard too much about it yet. It's not bad. I've only listened to it all the way through once so far. The beats and cadences are pretty good, but the rhyme patterns are a little monosyllabic for my tastes. Once I got my own prejudice past how obviously white they sound, it got a lot better. I need to listen to it again before I pass a final judgement, but the fact that I actually want to listen to it again is a good sign.

It's unreleased stuff that ranges his whole career (he seems to be up to SAWII at this point). "28 organ" is a stunner. "26 5 [demo]" is an alternate version of "4" from RDJA. Then there's two versions of "Red Calx" which made the internet collectively shit itself. "Fork Rave" and "6 Plinky Plonk[orig]" sounds like SAW8592 on speed. There's so much good here. It's all I've been listening to for three days. On "12 Space Beat":

When I lived in Minneapolis is was pretty much impossible to avoid Doomtree and I like a lot of their stuff. This one doesn't really feel like anything special though. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just pretty uneventful.
