Tame Impala is pretty decent. I haven't listened to it much though. After a brief visit I still prefer Innerspeaker.

Yeah I still like Innerspeaker better but Lonerism grew on me quite a bit.

I'll have to get a few more listens in before I make a proper call. "Elephant" is a pretty fucking rad chune. Found myself repeating it a couple of times.

"Elephant" is rad. "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" gets stuck in my head for days. That is also the track that was playing driving away from picking up our puppy.

I'm down.
It's good! Very moody and minimal, definitely not the Mogwai I'm used to. I have to spin it a few more times to really get a feel for it, I think.

I am incredibly stroked to be listening to
Charles Bobuck - Codgers on the Moon
because I just read this on his website:
"I didn't intend to record an album or make this web site. When I am not working on a specific project, I usually spend my time trying different musical ideas on the computer. I'm not the kind of composer that sits at a piano or strums a guitar. I don't have melody lines running through my brain. My fascination is directed toward listening to the way layers interact rhythmically and harmonically. I do work on a lot of music that is more traditionally structured and melodic because I like to explore different directions at different times. Left to my own devices I tend to lean more into the abstract world of sound."
For those of you who aren't Horned Gramma, Charles "Chuck" Bobuck is the primary composer and arranger for the Residents of 40 years. The man is a genius and this album is beautiful.

That WB: RMX album was like listening to an alien scanning through the stations of intergalactic radio.
