Baths- Obsidian This is cool because I just made myself a kickass necklace with an obsidian stone. Burial- Rival Dealer Fuck Buttons- Slow Focus Mogwai- Rave Tapes John Talabot- fin Tool- Aenima Nine Inch Nails- Pretty Hate Machine
All of these for the very first time. Pretty Hate Machine is a little too perfect for what is happening in my life right now (now you all have to listen to it to figure that out!).
I'm not going to do a speech about trying to post more, because I'm not sure I will, but I want to, really badly, so I think I will. Love you guys
Edit: I also haven't read anything in awhile (except meow playing to get purchase ideas) so I have no idea what is going on. But I will have time soon to catch up.

I'm jealous of anyone hearing Fin for the first time. I still absolutely love that album.

It was awesome and my first time hearing John Talabot since Sasquatch. A car dance party was required.

Nine Inch Nails- Pretty Hate Machine All of these for the very first time. Pretty Hate Machine is a little too perfect for what is happening in my life right now (now you all have to listen to it to Dr. Garbanzoure that out!). The first time I heard Pretty Hate Machine, I was 15 and my first real girlfriend had just broken up with me. I listened to that album exclusively for like a month. To this day, I have yet to hear a more perfect album for that situation. Also, not sure if I'm sad or jealous of you just now hearing Ænima for the first time.

Just 'Wave of Mutilation'.
Over, and over, and over...And then I play it on guitar...And then over, and over, and over and again.

Tool- Aenima Nine Inch Nails- Pretty Hate Machine All of these for the very first time. You are listening to Tool and NIN albums for the first time while I am listening to The Band and The Police for the first time and that is funny to me.

And I feel the same way about the lack of electronic music you listen to. Like any genre, it is deep and has a long history of amazing artists. It's understandably easy to get sucked in to it and devote more of your time to it if that's what you're in to. Like I am! Thanks for understanding.

To this day, I have yet to hear a more perfect album for that situation. Also, not sure if I'm sad or jealous of you just now hearing Ænima for the first time. I am most certainly not sad about this. I know that if I had heard it any other time then now I would not appreciate it and probably not give it more than one listen. But at this time, it's blowing me out of the water (and my mind).
