Minor Threat was my main shit once upon a time. Minor Threat still is my main shit from time to time. It's still hard for me to believe that a band with such a small body of work had such a huge influence, but every song they ever recorded is a classic.

every song they ever recorded is a classic. This is so true, but I tend to go for Fugazi or the Evens these days when I want my Ian fix.

I never really got much into Fugazi, but I've been telling myself for the last couple years that I need to go back and give them another shot. I think I was just disappointed when I first listened to them because I wanted them to be Minor Threat and they weren't. I'm (much) older now and my musical tastes have evolved, but I just haven't gotten back around to listening to them again for some reason.

The Fugazi discography is one of my personal favorites, and definitely something you'll want to check out if you're into evolving taste. All of their LP's can be ordered here: www.dischord.com/band/fugazi for $11 each with very reasonable shipping rates.

Dammit, I ate my own post. Now I have to do this again but drunk?
AlunaGeorge: Last.fm suggested it to me last week and I can't decide if I actually like it a lot, or am just looking for a new guilty pleasure. It's interesting that in the past week I've seen the name at least 7 times in various internet corners. Buzz y'all.
Rusty's soundtrack:
Moxy Fruvous - Wood Supertramp - Breakfast in America
That combination is a very weird amalgamation of my adolescenthood dude. Maybe I've had too many sangrias but weird feels.
Jon Hopkins: Dudes. Dude. Dudettes. Dudes transitioning to dudettes. The reverse. Persons who don't identify with the nomenclature dude or dudette. I'M SO INTO THIS MUSICMAN.
Ms Mr - Secondhand Rapture HAIM - Forever
Lumping these together because I'm loving them equally but can't really tell the difference between them yet and keep forgetting to write them down in my "shit I love" iNote and want to remember that I love them.
Ugh, this is why I don't post in this thread.

Haha, if I delete that post does it mean it never happened? And (more importantly) will it make my hangover go away?
Sorry.
