Toadies, my god I have not heard that name in a while. Ever listen to any Tripping Daisy? That was always my 90's alternative texan band of choice in junior high. First thought, hell yes, Toadies. I still listen to that album frequently. Second though, Tripping Daisy, hell yes. Indirectly linked to the first late night set in Sasquatch history. How so?

First thought, hell yes, Toadies. I still listen to that album frequently. Second though, Tripping Daisy, hell yes. Indirectly linked to the first late night set in Sasquatch history. How so? The Polyphonic Spree where literally blown off the main stage in 2007 after three songs. They ended up playing a full set on the second stage (where the dance tent currently is) after everyone left. I was camping near the current "terrace camping" that year, so I could see the stage, and here the music. It became an inside joke the rest of the night, how they were still playing a couple hours later. The next morning, I even shouted into my friends tent at 7 a.m., "Polyphonic Spree IS STILL PLAYING!" Same lead singer by the way, Tripping Daisy.

I never understood how Tripping Daisy could be so rad and Polyphonic Spree could be so fucking awful.

Astrobear - First Contact EP
Really dark and almost doomy dubstep mixed with gorgeous ambient.

Talkdemonic
Really digging this. I like to get to know some of the early acts well so I can enjoy them at noon in the hot hot sun.

How's the Chems listening coming along, Know? I'm not sure yet. I've listened to enough Chemical Brothers that I already know I like it. Figuring out which album(s) I like best will take a month.
