For real. Kurt's Rejoinder into Energy Fools the Magician is so good. Side 2 rules the world though.

By This River and Julie With... just kill me. Seriously, it's joyous anticipation every time I flip the record over from the already incredible side 1. The album that just keeps on giving. I'm actually listening to "He would have laughed" right now, that acoustic loop floods me with warm emotions every time.

This is a large part of the reason why I don't like you. What are the other parts? I forgot all about you. How ya been Wolfy? That was mean of me, and off topic. Sorry about that. I've been well though, thanks for asking. That MSG LCD show sounds AMAZING! I wish I could afford flying over there for it. I've been into LCD for a few years now but have only had the privilege of seeing them once (at 'Squatch '10.) I reeeeeally hope they reform in a few years, which seems likely because of their popularity and the fact that it's pretty much only James Murphy. Right now I'm listening to !!!, and man are they good! I've been recommended to them for a while but haven't actually given their albums a listen until this week. They sound like a mix between TV on the Radio and The Rapture. An instant favorite, and I think there is great potential for their live show. Can anyone comment from experience? Also, what are peoples' favorite albums of theirs? I've been listening to "Louden Up Now" and "Myth Takes" and really like both.

I have never really sat down with !!!'s albums but I can say that their set from Coachella '07 was one of the most memorable and fun sets of that weekend for me. I danced my ass off.

In regards to !!! (Chk Chk Chk), "Louden Up Now" is great. The other stuff has some good tracks here and there (pretty so so, to oh no!), I haven't seen them since touring that album, but holy fucking hell those were very fun shows!
EDIT: They are great musicians and had a horn section and three percussionists when I saw 'em.
