Kymess have you seen The Happiness of the Katakuris? No, but that sounds absolutely amazing! Claymation, zombies and a musical! I think I may have found what I'm downloading tomorrow night... Mostly, I've just seen what has been at the film festival since I discovered him in 2002 or 2003 with the Dead or Alive series, and the majority of his yakuza-centric films from when I went through a phase a few years ago. Unfortunately, that means I've missed a few of his earlier gems like Happiness.

Okay, the Shins album is slowly growing on me. The first half is as good as anything Mercer's recorded, minus about half the lyrics which are painfully cliche. Strangely, the second half is better written but still bores me.
I also absolute hate the title.

Portugal. The Man - In the Mountain In the CloudI've been listening to this album at least once a week for about as long as it's been released. I'm so pissed that they have yet to stop through Vancouver since releasing it.

Man, talk about the guiltiest of guilty pleasures. I'm definitely listening to (and enjoying) the new All-American Rejects. I don't know why, but I've always had a soft spot for them.
Street cred: GONE.
