Gramatik - orchestrated incident Gramatik - Lonely and Cold Gramatik - Just Jammin Gramatik - Hit that Jive Just gave these guys a listen and am really impressed. They are also playing the Nectar Lounge in seattle on the 10th so I might check em out. I love every single artist on Pretty Light's music label. With that being said, gramatik is my favorite. His song "liquified" is impossible not to head bob to, well atleast for me. I might go to that show on the 10th if I'm home for winter break by then.

I am guilty of using Spotify though. I like to know what the product is before I buy it. Why would you be guilty for this? I have been using it since it was released in the U.S. They have a contract with the record labels that allow the music to be streamed, and the artists receive royalties for every track that is played. They generate revenue from those annoying ads, or from the people who pay for the ad free service.

Just finished listening to a few tracks off the new Black Keys album that are streaming on their website. There are a couple of solid tunes, "Lonely Boy" and "Little Black Submarines", but for the most part they have added nothing new to their sound. Given that I own most of their other albums, I will still probably pick it up when it comes out.

It's pretty much Brothers 2.0, but less annoying because I haven't been force fed all of these songs a million times yet.

Tiger Army is so rad. What was your first impression of Nick 13? I literally know no one else who has heard that album.

It was really good. I especially liked how well his voice works with the country music. Had I not known that he was from Tiger Army I likely wouldn't have picked it out, but at some points you can totally tell he's a product of the late 2000-2010 era of punk. He has that voice. I have no better way to describe it.
I've already recommended it to a few people.

Modeselektor - Monkeytown I really liked that album. Actually I have liked quite a bit of their catalog, and it's totally weird because it's not my style of music.
