Is it possible that the pics actually caused the break up? Would that be bad press or good press?

Very sad news. Amazing band and I am pretty upset I will likely not get a chance to see them live now. I agree this sucks bigtime. I'm a bit luckier in that I did get to see them live once (Calgary in 2004 I think it was).

CONSPIRACY THEORIES COMMENCE Yes, a publicity stunt. Then after a 6 month hiatus they will announce that it was a mistake, and a reunion in which they will play major festivals including Sasquatch where they will poop the headliner that everybody doesn't think should be headlining.

God, that, "world is turnin', Hope it don't turn away", line gets me every fucking time.
Is On the Beach your favorite Neil album?

I'd say that one, Everybody Knows This is Nowhere and After the Goldrush. Cop out answer, I know.

Thanks to Know for including this in his Top 50 of 00-10 and reminding me how wonderful it is. Pulled it out for the first time in probably 3 years.

On Moonface: I'm 15 minutes in and could probably listen to this on repeat all day long Haha I've done that. More than once. I have a great desire to plug this into my amp, hit repeat and record, and see if I can come up with my very own 'mixtape' full of out of context guitars and effects. This is basically all I've listened to for the past 4 days.
