I couldn't get into that K&E album. Too choppy for me and all I remember hearing was too much Eminem. ...like you give a shit I hated it the first time I listened to it. Still hated it the second time. By the third time it started growing on me. Once that MIA song hits I have to fight the urge to stab myself in the eye.

If you click on the "itunes DJ" button on the left side of your itunes player it randomly selects about an hour's worth of music from your library and makes one long mix out of them. Pretty cool stuff. Yea, I have a few country albums...

I can't wait to see these guys live, like seriously top ten I haven't seen. They played two shows in Portland last year, but it was before I knew who they were.

To clarify: I put on 'Home' and turned it off after about 100 seconds. I've had a few and we're heading out to sushi; thought I'd give it a chance to appeal to me. Yeeeaahhh... Nope.

I had no idea who they were prior to that other than 1 song on Stereogum. One of the guys wore a very oversized hood. Kind of like a monk hoodie, and kept whipping it around. They are a lot of fun live, but the crowd seemed like they kept waiting for them to sing. I would definitely go see them as a headliner.

I've probably listened to it 15 times by now. It's like classic rock mixed with butt rock, with a lot of Arcade Fire type chanting. I stated that just to make Gramma cringe. He will not like it.

Moon and Antarctica. Oh my god; I'm an asshole. I am guilty of Modest Mouse backlash. These fuckers were my favorite band for the whole first half of my twenties. I fucking shit all over their last album and I haven't even listened to it all the way through. Even if it totally fucking sucks? It would be the ONLY Modest Mouse album that isn't fucking incredible.
What. The fuck. Is wrong with me.

The Stars are Projectors... I love how every guitar part in that song feels like a callback to other MM songs.
