I haven't listened to The Killers very much so decided to check out Direct Hits. All I have to say is they are very hit or miss. They do have some great songs.

So I decided to recreate the Sigur Rós setlist from Sasquatch and just sit outside and listen to it as the sun rise is giving birth to the new day and now my tears are freezing to my face.
I'm only at Varúð. I can't decide if this was terrible or brilliant.

I've been playing the entire Crystal Castles and The Knife catalogs since yesterday afternoon. I think I'm pretty content on going through the entire day repeating this.

The Prodigy - Music for the Jilted Generationjj - n° 2Flume - FlumeSt. Vincent - ActorThe Rapture - Pieces of the People We LoveSufjan Stevens - MichiganThom Yorke - The EraserHot Sugar - Music To... Have Nightmares ToBurial - Rival Dealer EP Nothing really new to me here, besides the Hot Sugar tape and the Rival Dealer EP. Rival Dealer is amazing. I think the title track could be one of my favourite songs of the year, it gets better every time I listen to it. The other two songs are fantastic as well. I highly recommend the EP to everyone, and its streaming on YouTube as well as the Hyperdub site: www.hyperdub.net/releases/view/258/HDB080

I don't like it. OOPS. I have tried to get into Burial more than most artists that I don't enjoy as much - mostly because of the Four Tet speculation - but the reason I know he isn't Four Tet is because I really like everything Four Tet does, and nothing Burial has done. There are very few electronic producers that I can truly claim to enjoy thoroughly, and I'm still trying to figure out what and why this is.

Burial is easily in my top 5 all time favorite electronic producers, and this new EP is such a surprising but refreshing new direction for him. Wish he would stop being such a recluse and play some damn shows though.
