It's easy to become obsessed with a Pinback record. Especially #1 and #2.

I've been deeply obsessed with the first one for a third of my life, to the exclusion of #2. I got them on the same day. I can't believe it took this fucking long for it to click, it is just incredible.
Seriously though I know the S/T like the back of my hand. I'm having so much fine memorizing all the brilliant little backbeats and counter-melodies on BSL.

all the subtle bass plucking and bleep bloops give me goose poops. the sonar blip or two on BOO is the best.

Dude, you posted at 7am. How have you had time to listen to all of this? His name is Drew, see. And he's got a nose for sniffin' out crime. He's also got a Luger on his hip just in case the crime starts to stink, see. The ladies all love him and he loves that they love him. Too bad he's already married to the job, that and a half glass of whiskey. So time in-congruent posters beware, see! He's on to your scent and like I said, he's got a nose for these types of things. Too bad he's got a cold today... guess he'll have to rely on that Luger. He's Drew! Post Board P.I.
