There is a "pit" area directly in front of the stage that is separated from the rest of the floor area by a fence and entrance to the pit is regulated by a yellowshirt who has the sickest mullet of all time. The rest of the floor is come and go as you please. I never have any trouble getting down there if I so choose (though I often stay on the middle of the hill to allow myself to move quickly between stages).
This inquiry goes out to Vancouver BC residents (or northern Washington dudes) who have taken both US-2 and I-90 in the past couple years. 2 years ago I had a really bad experience on the I-90, traffic was nuts. I swear we sat for a good hour at least. It was so bad that I completely avoided it last year and took US-2 both ways, which was fine but the mountains are quite treacherous.
Anyway, I was wondering what your experiences have been like. This year I'm hoping to be across the border by 9:30-10 am on Thursday. I just want to get there super fast and painlessly because I am a huge baby who is afraid of driving.
Some shit happened at a party near my school last night. Five people (all students I believe) were stabbed to death by a single suspect. It's being called the "worst mass murder in Calgary history." It's really upsetting to think that something like this happened to students from my school. I was also in the area at a different party for a bit, so I'm a little rattled by it all.
A little heavy perhaps for this thread but no one I know has much to say about it so I thought I would share.
After hearing one song from this EP, I took the plunge and immediately bought it. I have absolutely no regrets, because this is easily my favorite music of the year so far. The whole thing is streaming on soundcloud, if you like electronic music this is a must listen!
