I think the bends is a better starting point but you can't really go wrong with ok computer

I love the bends, personally. Fake Plastic Trees was my favorite Radiohead for a long time.

AHH.. Now you guys have me all confused.

Listen to "OK Computer" playing backwards while reading the lyrics to "Hail to the Thief" and staring at the insert of "Kid A". This is what they always intended to happen, you can especially tell when you play their songs in alphabetical order while reading "Do Androids Dream of Electrical Sheep".

I've seen them mentioned a few times in other threads. I'd be tickled pink if they were a late add to this year. I've been lucky enough to see them twice. The first time was in the basement bar of a smokehouse BBQ joint. Standing ground level two feet away from them with the smell of mesquite looming and a pint in my hand. Honestly one of the best times I've ever had. 2nd time I saw them was opening up for Gaslight Anthem in a university hall. Definitely not the same vibe, but awesome none the less.

I love the fucking shit out of Murder by Death.
The last two times they've come here, they had 21+ shows. Such a bummer.

The vocals may be a little extreme for some of you, but at least listen to the music and give it a chance.

I wish I saw that show at The Palomino! What an amazing venue for a band like them. Saw them at Gaslight and when they opened for the Reverend Horton Heat at Desperado's or whatever that stampede bar was called at the time. They blew me away both times.
