Shit I forgot to mention the best record so far in starfucker. That album is simply sublime. I hope they are able to make it big with this record. They were awesome in 09 at monolith.

I'm no metal expert, but I do like the genre, and grew up listening to a lot of the more mainstream metal, early Metallica, Slayer, death metal b0nanas, the usual. I still listen to a handful of metal albums every year, and this one is easily my favorite.

YES. Great band, moderator. This cd has always been my favorite of theirs.

Its unfortunate that the only time I saw them live (opening for Dethklok) they decided to play their current album (Crack The Skye) in its entirety followed by only one song from each of their past albums. I really wanted to hear that first track from Blood Mountain!

Fuck I still need to see Dethklok.

Geno, they were badass. Made a fan out of me instantly... and I've never even seen metalocalypse.

I'm headin' out to a "Funk Party" with a pile of my vinyls in tow, since funk and soul don't get brought up too much here, I thought I'd share some of what I'm bringing with y'all. Have a good night!

I love the inclusion of Remain in Light.

Dood, Talking Heads, on top of being masters of everything else, are masters of funk.

Talking Heads are PRIMARILY masters of funk. Although I'd have probably taken 'Speaking in Tongues' over 'Remain in Light'.

Oh fuck yes. I have a dance mix on my ipod (for when spontaneous dance parties break out) and it's littered with Talking Heads. And James Brown.
