Haha yep those are the four bands that J.W.W. likes. |

| Oh man, I totally thought Tera Melos was number one. |

| He must have been drunk. We all know that #5 is Taking Back Sunday. |

Off the top of my head
1. Pink Floyd 2. Velvet Underground 3. Modest Mouse 4. The Beatles 5. Radiohead
I've already thought of 7 more that should be on there, but I'm sticking with that. |

1. Black Dice (most influential) 2. Animal Collective (most listened to) 3. Melt-Banana (favorite guitarist) 4. Fugazi (most wanted live) 5. Bjork (favorite vocalist) EXPANSION!: 6. Brian Eno (favorite pianist/synthesizer/everything with keys on it) 7. Boredoms (favorite drummer(s)) 8. Explosions in the Sky (favorite live) 9. Circle (most prolific) 10.Tortoise (favorite bassist)
Holy shit; now I'm picturing a super group that consists of Agata on guitar, Yoshimi on drums, Doug McCombs on bass, Eno on keys, and fucking Bjork. I have a feeling this image will be in my dreams for a long time. Waking dreams that is, pot smokers don't have sleeping dreams . |

| I edited mine in the first post. What was I on when I didn't put Opeth as my #1? And I must have been in a Portishead phase because I don't think I'd put them in my top 15 even. |

1. Nine Inch Nails 2. Tool 3. Pink Floyd 4. Primus 5. Mastodon
The bottom 2 were tough calls. I added them because I own most of their catalog, and will always buy anything they release, because I believe they are that solid. I can also never tire of their music. |

| My top 3 are pretty much consistently the same (including the same as what I first put). 4 and 5 are a rotating cast. |

| I was taking the word "band" literally, but if you guys are throwing down Eno and Bowie then Bjorrito is definitely on my list. Possibly Eno as well. Why does this have to be a top 5 when we CLEARLY love top 10's more? I vote for expansion. |

I found this true, because when I stopped smoking, my dreams seemed very vivid all of a sudden. Then when I started smoking again the vivid dreams disappeared. For the record I am currently a non-smoker. |

| I could never remember my dreams before I started smoking. Now I can remember them with quite a bit of detail and wow are they weird. |
