so lump, how was mangum?

So good. I was feeling cynical thinking I'd just be wishing for a full NMH set the whole time, but damn, Jeff Mangum made me leaving quite satisfied. I'm not much for acoustic sets, but damn was he emotive. It was everything I could've hoped for.

Is anyone going to Silver Mt. Zion in Seattle tonight? And to my Canadian friends, did anyone catch the first few dates of the tour?

Silver Mt. Zion was really, really good last night. They're playing some Canadian shows and then the northwest if anyone is a fan. If you like them at all you should consider catching them

Get ready to experience the supernatural.

Look, I know the supernatural is something that isn't supposed to happen, but it does happen

Oh man, how did I forget to mention this:

Scott Spillane played trumpet on a couple songs!

And also, Andrew, Scott, and Laura which was a supergroup of Scott Spillane and Andrew Rieger and Laura Carter of Elf Power. Played a bunch of Gerbils and Elf Power songs, some originals they wrote together, and a few covers. All 3 of them would join Mangum during his set on occasion. All was great.

Apparently, No Age, Shabazz Palaces, Cobra Starship, Youth Lagoon, and Death Cab for Cutie are in my future.

Silver Mt. Zion was so fucking good last night! I'll say it again because I love the filter: so fucking GOOD! They played 2 new songs that are serious contenders for their best material yet. Portland folks, y'all should seriously consider catching them at Mississippi Studios tonight, wherever that is.

Shit guys!! James is playing at Neumos in Seattle the Sunday before Coachella. You can bet my happy ass will be front and center for this one. I can't wait to catch them in a small dark venue and then at one of the biggest festivals on earth within the same week.

So tonight is LMFAO....and it's only one of the guys performing. Hahahaha, what the hell? This might possibly be the worst thing ever.

Ah well, Imma get loaded and get my PARTY ROCK ON!!!!!

Gah, where do you see that? And more importantly, do they have a Portland date?
