I took that road, it's not as easy as they make it seem. The NOFX's of this world are rare. Did you enjoy the show? It seemed to have a lot to do with being the last night of their tour, but having seen them many times before I was not expecting to be so impressed (as much by the stupid tricks and jokes as the music).

Oh yeah, I enjoyed the show. It's fun living in a non-PC world for 90 minutes.

And the reason bands like NOFX are rare is because punks tend to grow up. It's hard to remain true to form when you're listening to Jack Johnson on the side.

That's why Mike is the best. The only thing he will grow up is that mohawk.

Man, I can only imagine how many bands are going to be playing in San Francisco between the 16th and 19th. Somebody should've just capitalized on this fact and made their own festival in SF. It only makes sense.

I'd pay extra to just see them play The Decline.

You shoulda seen them circa 2008/2009. I think they were playing it at every show, flawfully I might add.

Might I also add how cool it is to be talking to multiple Sasquatchees about NOFX. I claim Bjork, Animal Collective and Black Dice are my faves, but I will always have the softest spot in my loins for NOFX.

And it would obviously be named Coachella by San Francisco. Or Coach by Coach-North.

FUCK. YES. Atlas Sound is coming to Seattle after Noise Pop. Feb 28 @ Neumos. He's #2 on my wishlist for Sasquatch, doesn't play too many solo shows, but maybe I'll get lucky with the double dose this year.

It's crazy. Have you seen my April concert calendar? St. Vincent/chune-yArDs, Radiohead, Jeff Mangum, Godspeed, Pulp, and I'm debating buying tickets to see Refused and a few others. It's going to be expensive and beautiful.

Radiohead, Pulp, and Mangum. Good god I hate you Drew.

If ONLY there was a massive gathering place where most (if not all) of those artists could be seen for one packaged price!

One can dream, I suppose.

I hate you too Pea!

I would rather be going to Coachella, no doubt, but it will be nice to see a full, 90 minute set from Pulp and Godspeed, and good long sets from Mangum and especially St. Vincent.

The Coachella boardies say the lighter lineup will give artists like Godspeed longer set times, so it must be true.

I was going to ask how you stand those people, and then I was like, How can anybody stand US people?

The thought of some Coachella boardie coming over here, opening a thread only to see me posting incoherently in all-caps, HG berating some poor noob until they quit the board, and a pea/ro conversation only to X out of this page as fast as possible made me smile.

Your mom doesn't seem to have much of a problem with it.
