Com Truise opened for Phantogram and he was certainly was COMAS, but Stamps and I kept ourselves extremely entertained during the seemingly never-ending set. We pre-gamed at home and were about two PBRs in when Com Truise was barely half-way through the set. A lurch-like frat boy in a hawaiian shirt was in front of us, probably on E, was dancing like an absolute idiot.
After a while I noticed he had this one dance move that he used repeatedly, which involved him running his hand through his frat-boy hair. After seeing him do this at least 35 times, I turned to Stamper and said, every time he runs his hand through his hair, we should cheers and take a drink.
After about two minutes of cheers-ing and chugging, peeps behind us started to take notice. Soon enough, we had about 5-7 people involved in the drinking game. The dude never noticed, but it definitely made enduring Com Truise a ton more fun.
But yes, to answer your question, Phantogram was great. They had a lot more energy than the other two times I saw them (one at Sasquatch and one in Pittsburgh). They're gonna be big, methinks.

Sounds like the guy was definitely on E. Especially dancing like a fool and him running his hand through his hair, those are dead give aways when they are together. Good times.
Why didn't you stay for the glitch mob? I haven't seen much love for them on these boards but holy shit they are so fucking good! Shit I was dancing to them like crazy while at work today, so groovy. |

No.1
1. For fuck's sake, it's 850 pages plus 150 or more of footnotes. Granted I read kinda slowly but it's only been a month of serious effort and I've had other stuff to do and my god are some of the sections just serious serious drags. Good bits too, but, again, it's 1100 pages of text altogether. I'm maybe a quarter of the way through right now per Infinite Summer's2 estimations. 2. | It's actually 981 pages long and contains 96 pages of notes and footnotes. And it's a good good book. |

had Glitch Mob opened for Phantogram as opposed to the other way around, we probably would have - as we saw all of comAS Truise - but since we're not much fans for Glitch Mob we bolted.

Chromeo toinght @ Flames Central.
And as an added bonus, there's an EDM show at a different venue at the same time, so hopefully all the e-tards will be there instead of Chromeo. I really hope it's not the same crowd as was at Nero. |

Hahaha it's a good thing you don't go to the Chromeo shows I go to...
Anyway, Flux Pavilion & Doctor P. tonight in Seattle. Gonna be a face melting night to remember! |

Crowd was 100x better than at Nero. I had a blast. I still went up to the balcony but that was because the main floor was busy working it night by night and when I got back from the bathroom I didn't feel like doing the "elbows up" thing. Met tons of people. Had a blast. Overall A+. |

Had a great time, but it was also sort of run of the mill for a dubstep show. Met up with mrlahey and kicked it with him for the duration. Always a great time with that dude! |
