Yeah we saw them in 2011 with wonk. Truly magical. Two sets per night.

Yeah, we were camped next to a real life cartoon character, or maybe he was a leprechaun with acromegaly, or maybe he was an actual wizard? He hugged me mere seconds after jumping out of our cars to set up camp. He smelled good too.

He was the jolliest of all people.

Trey at the Wonder Crystal will still be sweet, though.

Yes, also that. I had Wonder on the brain since I was trying to go over to the box office and get my Tomahawk tickets. It was not open, though, but that is my own fault for not checking first.

Local Natives tonight! I'm excited to see these new songs live.

If anybody has the chance to see this show they should. This thing is massive. Excision is still throwing down some solid sets too. A lot of DnB, Drumstep, Trap, Hard Style, etc in the mix like we were discussing recently. Paper Diamond is really good live too.

Edit: Ahh! How in the hell did I quote the wrong person on my post? This question was for Stormy and HG about the Pinback concert...Sorry bjorrito for quoting you in mistake.

"Did you guys get a kick out of that Judgement Day openig band? Show was good... not as good as the Rob And Zach Show (just Rob, actually) or when I saw them in 2007. They atleast had a touring keyboardist then."

Man, Built to Spill at the Doug Fir was perfect.

In theory that perfection should carry onward from now.

There is no way to top perfection, therefore you should take your ticket for tonight and sell it to Souly so she can see the perfection, too. The show is "beyond sold out" and there are no tickets at the door for this one apparently.

We did not see the opening band. Mostly because we rarely see the opener but specifically because the last time we saw Pinback their opener was one of the worst bands, maybe the very worst, I have ever heard in my life.

Is she needing a ticket? Because I'll give mine up if she's really needing it.

Wonk had just sold his last one when she decided to surprise visit us and I found out that the Doug Fir is not releasing tickets at the door for this show. HG said he couldn't find any on StubHub either. So at this point she does not have a ticket. I was not meaning to call you out, I was just kind of grasping at straws at this point.

Well I would totally be fine with it. Last night's show left me satisfied. Wonk was gonna sell it to me before the show tonight, but I'll just pass it on to Souly.

They were pretty talented and entertaining. It was basically instrumental Thrash/speed metal (for the most part), but played strictly with an electric violin and cello.
