| When I think of "emo" I think of bands like Dashboard Confessional, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World. I would deem something "emo" based mostly on lyrical content. I find nothing "emo" in Pinback's lyrics. Therefore, IMHO, Pinback ain't emo. |

| Last time I saw Pinback, I fucking hated them. Even though I love Pinback. Sure, I hated the show mostly because Optiganally Yours was billed as opening for them and instead we saw the actual worst opening act I've ever seen and no mention was made of OY at all, but still I'm looking forward to a grudge match. |

| The Joy Formidable are playing Venue in Vancouver March 26th. I think it is dumb they are playing a 500 person venue and expect it to sell out very fast. Tickets on sale this Friday. |

This doesn't make sense. Is 500 too big or too small? Who expects it to sell out very fast? The band? The venue? How do you know? |
