I've told you this before. HOTEL.
Posted by Cysquatch on Jan 16, 2013, 10:42pm
A Hotel is an option, but if I have to pay for a room to sleep 4 hours, because I work the next morning, then it just feels like a waste. I am usually pumped up enough for an hour or so after a show to make the drive. It is just the next day that is punishing.

Edit: This is assuming the roads are at least decent.

So, the question is; Which show are you going to attend. I'd like to buy you a drink at The Rhino.

I guess I am still going back in forth which or both. The Youth Lagoon show may sell out since the venue is small. I usually end up saying fuck it in the end, and not doing the later shows, but I often regret it. Wilma shows are nicer on weekdays, because they end at midnight vs 2AM.

Edit: I would probably be cool with stopping at the Rhino before, but probably not after.

Dieselboy is playing in Missoula. It's been a while since I have checked out some drum and bass, and I've never experienced a drum and bass dj of his caliber live. Pretty stoked about this one.

I saw that dude unexpectedly the first time I ate candy and I danced until my nipples chafed. Well beyond the point of chafe, actually.

Why the hell do people keep italicizing the names of bands?
Posted by NO LOVE DEEP BJORRITO on Jan 17, 2013, 8:58pm
I thought it was just Cysquatch's trademark.

I just think names of artists, venues, movies, etc should stand out some how, and adding the italic tags are a simple way of doing that.

Edit: I really didn't think it was even that noticeable.

Go on...

People just italicize everything because they know something has to be italicized.

A major work is italicized, i.e. an album, book, collection, etc. A minor work is put in quotation marks, i.e. a song, story, poem, etc. An artist's name is made bold, size 35.55 font, red print, comic sans. That's MLA standard.

I love the St. Vincent song "Cruel" on the album Strange Mercy

No comic sans available.

Go home, Drew. You're drunk.
