This strokes me out because I did not think I was going to get a chance to hear 'I Am What I Am' live after missing them at Sascrotch.

I am probably the worst person to ask about these things, but Sufjan is the only act I know of selling out the Nepchune in 2012.

Yeah, ever since they started the Instant Fan Club the turnaround on albums has been much shorter. Which is nice, as long as Nanobots is roughly as good as Join Us was.

I checked yesterday or the day before and they still hadn't announced the west coast leg of the tour. Why the fuck do they always play the Crystal? Whatever, yeah, this one will set the Gramma TMBG show ticker to the big two-oh. Which is nice because they finally dragged themselves out of their live performance slump. Saw half a dozen shows in the 00's that, like, weren't their best.

Yissss. The new record has something like twenty-five tracks, which is the first indicator of quality TMBG dorks look for when assessing an upcoming release. (Not sarcasm.)

Youth Lagoon is playing on Feb 26th at the Badlander in Missoula. I missed him last time he came through. Those late weeknight shows are rough, but I think I'm going to try to make this one. Why? is playing the next night, which means I choose one or the other, or road trip 2 days in a row, which would be really rough.
