Passion Pit DJ set announced for here, January 12th at SAIT.

Not sure if this style of music is anybody's thang on here that lives in Calgary but Sandrider is coming to your neck of the woods. The only reason that I mention it is because they are one of my favorite local bands in my area and I wanted to give them a shout out.

They are best listened to at a high volume. Their live show is blistering. Last few times I saw them they opened for Red Fang and Russian Circles (they keep good company). It is at some place called Palomino on Friday, November 16

Just picked up tickets to see Sigur Ros in April. They skipped Minneapolis on their tour earlier this year so I'm kind of thrilled about this. They're easily in my top 5 list of bands I've never seen before but 130 bucks for two tickets still stung. Now if only Neil would make it out here...

I'm a bit under the weather, but I'm supposed to be going for drinks / meeting my new roommate from Ireland (who just moved here yesterday, lolz), so maybe he'll be up for it.
