Some ideas in the next couple of months:
Sept 27 - Amon Tobin @ House of Blues
Oct 20 - Major Lazer @ House of Blues
Oct 30 - Zammuto @ Soda Bar
Nov 30 - Trans Siberian Orchestra @ Valley View Casino Center

Haven't bought tix to any of this yet, but I Dr. Garbanzoure I need to start checking out some of the local venues sooner or later...

Dweezil Zappa plays Zappa is coming to the Wilma in Missoula. I really have no idea of what to think of this show. Anybody have any input here.

Not sure if I will be able to sneak away to catch a show while I am down in San Diego this weekend but I would like to check out what is going on anyways. Anybody on here familiar with the venues in town?

I highly recommend going, especially if you have any interest or knowledge of Frank Zappa's music. It's the closest thing you'll ever get. I read somewhere that Dweezil tours with a lot of musicians who used to tour with Frank, but I don't know the extras well enough to confirm. I know the main vocalist was way too young to have toured with Frank, but others in the band were older folks.

As a bonus, Dweezil is actually a fantastic guitar player. I'd pay to see that show again.

Never heard of Owl City but I would like to check out the house of blues in SD. I have been to the Las Vegas one before and that was pretty fucking rad...I am stuck on a phone conference so can't check out Owl City yet
