BC Place is massive. It's a football stadium, instead of a hockey arena. Edmonton is fucked.
BC Place capacity (without floor seating) - 59,841 Rexall Place capactiy (without floor seating) - 16,839
Is BC Place really that big? That's nuts. It looked a lot smaller the one (and only) time I was there. I guess it makes sense though. I'm sure U2's stage setup was probably the size of Rexall Place.
This just makes me want to see the Edmonton show even more. It's basically a club show for McCartney.
BC Place - 59,841 Scottrade Center (St. Louis) - 19,000+ Minute Maid Park (Houston) - 40,000+ Rexall Place - 16,839
I am so excited to see Lightning Bolt tonight that I'm not listening to any music or taking any droogz ALL DAY until the show. This is obviously a big deal.
Holy shit. Dieter Moebius of the legendary Cluster is playing at Barboza on Wednesday for 10 bucks. Dude collaborated with Brian Eno; I would pay 10 bucks just to stand in a room with him.
Yeah I'm going to try to get tickets to Macca, but that shit is going to sell out so fucking fast. Rexall is even smaller than BC Place (I think...) so it's going to be impossible to get my hands on them.
One of 4 North American shows this year. First time ever in Edmonton. Tickets are between $40-$250 I think I heard.
Yeah man, I'll be trying to get some too. Not overly optimistic about my chances.
